The Old City Hall was built in 1924. Designed by Frank Hummel in Greek Classical Revival style. It housed both the police department and fire department.
Formerly the Marshfield City Hall and Fire Station, The Old City Hall is located at 375 Central Ave, Coos Bay, is on the National Historic District Registry. It consists of 14,268 square feet of leasable space, consisting of a coffee shop, restaurant/bar, banquet/dance facility and 10 individual offices. It was built in 1924 in what was originally called Marshfield, Oregon. The town voted to change the name to reflect the bay in which it was situated in 1944, and has been known as Coos Bay Oregon ever since.
